Mark Lawrie

Mark turned Professional in 2000 after a successful amateur career in Scotland where he was Under 14 Boys’ Champion in 1995 and played for Scotland from 1998 – 2000.  He has been Assistant Professional at Liphook and Royal Wimbledon and followed this with 3 years as Golf Operations’ Manager at Roehampton. Immediately prior to joining Denham, he was Head Professional at Ashford Golf Club, Kent. He was sponsored to play full time on the Euro Pro Tour and PGA South Region for a year in 2010 and continues to play regularly in Pro-Ams.

Mark works with players of all abilities,coaching players from a beginner level to Elite amateurs. Mark has been fortunate enough to work alongside,play with and recieve tuition from some of the worlds top professionals.The learning doesnt stop for Mark,as he still sees other top Golf coaches,seeking out new ideas and findings of the Game.

Mark believes in goal setting with time scales so that individuals are able to monitor progress and move on towards the next stage in there game.part of the introduction process will be setting realistic goals to suit your needs and expectations.

To maximise learning potential,every client recieves an analysis video showing there progressive changes during the course of a lesson.

Every lesson has access to our Technology using GC2 Quad in our state of the art Golf studio.

 Matthew Clay

Matt is a full time teaching professional who has 25 years experience coaching all standards of golfers, from juniors to tour professionals.

Matt combines video analysis, experienced eyes and simple drills to get the best out of his pupils.

  Josh Wise

Josh Wise - PGA Professional

Josh is our most recent acquisition at Denham, joining us in Septmber 2022 from his previous club at Ashford Golf Club, Kent, following in similar footsteps from Head Professional Mark. He started his carrer in golf in 2017 at Ashford and has been working in the sport ever since. He has qualified as a PGA Professional in 2022 along with his Level 2 Coaching Certificate. 

He frequently plays in PGA South Region events and various other professional competitions including Pro-Am's. Not only competitively, Josh is always eager to play with members socially and is always striving to improve his game as well as those around him.

Josh brings a vast range of golfing knowledge at such a young age. He has plenty of experience in coaching of all abilities, frequently running group coaching sessions for juniors and beginners of all ages. He believes every player has the ability to reach their maximum potential through the right guidance, tailored to the individual whether that is on the course or the range. Offering 24/7 support, Josh is always keen to assist his pupils whether that is in or out of his lessons, with the aid of video technology.

Lessons prices with Josh - £35 for 30 minutes / £60 for one hour for members. Lessons packages and on course coaching is avaliable for members and visitors, please contact Josh for more information.
