This is our Stroke Index 1 hole that requires the longer hitter to play over the drive bunkers to land on the flat of the fairway or a draw just right of them to allow the left to right slope to move the ball back into the ideal spot. The shorter hitter should play on the right edge of the left-hand bunker and let the slope do the rest. The second shot is into a well-protected green that slopes from left to right from the centre of the green towards the back. Laying up on the left if you cannot reach the green in two gives the best chance of an up & down.
