Denham Golf Club welcomes membership applications from golfers of all ages and abilities.

The Harry Colt course has just undergone a three-year renovation programme to ensure that it is well-balanced and capable of providing a worthy challenge to lower-handicap players while remaining a fair and enjoyable test to those a little higher-up golf’s handicap spectrum.

With the 1st and 10th tees both close to the clubhouse – a Harry Colt design speciality – we have different starting points for two balls and three/four balls throughout the day so everyone is able to enjoy their rounds at a steady pace. The gravel sub-soil means we drain exceptionally well, so we rarely have to close even in the winter when we always stay on the greens.  Our reservoir and full course irrigation system allows us to keep the course in tip-top condition even in the hottest of summers.

An extensive calendar of social golf, competitive golf and club matches – both midweek and at weekends – provides members of all abilities with the opportunity to enjoy their golf to the maximum whatever their preference.

What makes Denham special?

Denham is readily accessible from the centre of London via the train out of Marylebone to Denham Golf Club railway station, with club storage available for those travelling by train, or via the M25/M40 links.

The Club has chosen not to have tee times, so many members meet in the clubhouse to sort out playing partners through the many roll-ups that occur during the week rather than having to spend the week on the phone, WhatsApp or email trying to sort out playing partners.

This approach means that it is very easy for new members to integrate into the Club & also that last-minute decisions to play ensure that a game will be available. A key ethos of the Club is that no one is left in the clubhouse without playing partners.  Social golfing events, with drawn pairings, often include lunch or supper to make integrating even easier.

Inclusivity, friendliness & hospitality ensure that new members & visitors are welcomed.

All members enjoy equal access to the course and competitions are keenly contested with over 200 golfers with Handicap Indices less than 10, but whatever your ability, there are plenty of opportunities to test yourself as often as you wish via an extensive calendar of competitions throughout the year, plus midweek and weekend matches against many local clubs, several top UK clubs and Oxford, Cambridge and London Universities.

In addition to the men’s and mixed events, our thriving ladies’ section has its own busy competition schedule with monthly medals and Stablefords as well as ‘major’ events such as the Spring and Autumn Meetings, the Club Championship and Invitation Days.

Our practice facilities include an extensive grass practice ground, two pitching greens, a practice bunker, a large putting green by the terrace, a smaller putting green by the 10th tee and an indoor Swing Studio,

The unique clubhouse with our friendly staff, and exceptional food and beverage offerings provides a welcoming place to relax and bring guests to regardless of whether you are playing golf or not.

The Club values families with membership opportunities for partners and juniors, resulting in many multi-generational connections across the membership.

Extensive opportunities for members to enjoy reciprocal golf at a wide range of clubs in the UK and around the world.

Overall Denham Golf Club provides the most complete golf club membership offering in the Home Counties.
