Our extensive facilities offer something for everyone, whether an informal drink or snack, a more formal meal in the excellent dining room, which seats up to 100, or a quieter space for private parties or family gatherings. The club is renowned for its excellent service and eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary cuisine. You’ll be pleased to know that homemade treacle tart and bread and butter pudding remain firm favourites. The wine list is extensive, too.
OPENING HOURS
The clubhouse opens at 7.45am and stays open until 8pm in the summer and 6pm in the winter.
Catering is available from 8am until 4pm every day. Outside these times catering is available by prior arrangement.
The bar is open from 8am until the clubhouse closes every day.
The bar is full of character with its low dark-oak beams, while our expansive south-facing terrace by the putting green is the perfect spot for a pre- or post-round drink with friends, Sunday lunch with the family or one of our popular summer BBQs.
For private dinner parties and celebrations for up to 40, the Sheridan Room, named after John Sheridan, our very popular golf professional for over 50 years until 1998, is comfortably furnished and set suitably apart – a cosy winter room with the log fire burning, yet cool in summer with doors that open on to the terrace.
